Data Repositories
The EnergyIP™ metered usage data repository (MUDR) and associated applications such as validation, editing, and estimation (VEE) are the core of its meter data management system (MDMS). The EnergyIP MDMS enables utilities to handle interval usage data and processes for thousands of C&I customers or millions of small and medium-sized businesses and residential mass-market customers, providing reliable and accurate data collection, processing, and billing.
To manage the metered usage data repository and the full range of EnergyIP applications, the system includes an AMI management database, optimized to track meters, premises, communication nodes, data services, and other information needed for high-function, dependable advanced metering information system (AMIS) operations.
EnergyIP has been scale-tested by an independent, world-class systems integrator to over 9 million advanced meters—a database of more than 50 billion records. EnergyIP data repositories reside on high-transfer rate storage arrays. Load-balanced redundant database servers for the MUDR and AMI management database deliver automatic fail-over capability.
