Validation, Editing, and Estimation
Using business rules, the Validation, Editing, and Estimation (VEE) module validates and estimates interval and billing cycle data and enables manual data editing as well. All data is stored in the MUDR, including pre-VEE meter data, error conditions, estimated data, and data delivered for billing. Estimates and edited reads are flagged and tracked. All actions taken to approve or edit data sets are logged and recorded against the service request to maintain an audit trail.
