Advanced Billing

The EnergyIP™ Advanced Billing module processes meter reads into daily billing determinants. For example, if hourly interval data and EnergyIP determines the proper billing determinant is a three-part TOU tariff, the Advanced Billing Module makes this computation and stores the daily data set along with the interval data in the MUDR. On each billing cycle, Advanced Billing delivers these billing determinants to the utility’s billing system. By performing billing determinant conversion on a daily basis, Advanced Billing can support end-user presentation of “month-to-date” information and spread computational loads over time.
