Advanced AMI Asset Management

The Advanced AMI Asset Management module provides additional tracking and reporting for AMI meters and network equipment beyond basic EnergyIP asset management. It tracks and maintains warranty terms, equipment (battery, antenna, external modem, etc.), test results and history, and shipping/receiving details. This additional information allows EnergyIP to manage the business processes associated with field maintenance of meters and AMI network equipment and the disposition of meters after they are removed from the field. Through a software adapter, the module can also supply asset information to utility financial systems.
