Utility System Interface Adapters
EnergyIP™ smart interface adapters connect the EnergyIP AMIS to utility business and AMI data collection systems. Core utility business systems that send information to EnergyIP can utilize a variety of real-time or batch interfaces. For real-time interfaces, it listens for messages from the utility’s EAI. Adapters can also regularly scan database tables or file directories for updated information from utility systems.
During implementation, eMeter configures EnergyIP adapters to support the utility’s core business systems interfaces as well as the AMI data collection system.
