Following a communication-neutral, open architecture strategy is the Advanced Data Infrastructure™ (ADI) for Commercial and Industrial (C&I) and mass-market automatic meter reading (AMR) and two-way information-centric applications. Within the ADI architecture, the FOCUS™ meter is an economical, solid state kWh-only meter designed to accommodate modular or integrated AMR communications or a KYZ-option output board. The integration of patented, wireless mesh technology with the FOCUS meter provides a mass-market, end-to-end solution for the acquisition, transportation, management and delivery of meter data and applications. Landis+Gyr also offers multiple communication options on its premier C&I S4 meter platform and the MAXsys 2510 high-end meters. Cashpower, a stand-alone prepaid metering system is also available.
