eMeter wins Smart Meter Data Management and Solutions of the Year Award
London, UK – January 30, 2012 — eMeter, A Siemens Business, a leader in Smart Grid management software, today announced that it has won the Smart Meter Data Management and Solutions of the Year Award at the European Smart Metering Awards 2012. eMeter staved off competition from a shortlist of Remake Electric and Energy Assets to take home the prize.
The award was announced last night at the European Smart Metering Awards 2012 in London, UK, which recognise achievements and innovation from utilities and solution providers in European smart metering. The evening was also an opportunity to reward those that play a defining role in moving the industry forward.
eMeter won the award for its EnergyIP® product, an industry leading energy information management platform which provides a billing service that users can actually interact with, allowing consumers to keep up to speed with their billing and consumption on different devices.
