Sam Klepper to Lead Consumer Energy Group; Brings Experience with Microsoft and Intuit to Smart Grid Management Software Leader
San Mateo, CA (April 28, 2009) — eMeter is pleased to announce the arrival of Sam Klepper as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the company’s newly created Consumer Energy Group, delivering software products to utilities that focus on the consumer benefits of the Smart Grid. Klepper brings more than 20 years industry experience to eMeter, with an emphasis on introducing technology-based consumer products.
Klepper will combine his leadership and expertise in creating innovative, easy-to-use consumer-oriented solutions with eMeter’s extensive smart grid technology experience. Together, they will build a set of new services enabling utilities to empower consumers to positively impact their home energy usage.
