John Wambaugh
Chief Solutions Architect
John O. Wambaugh is Chief Solutions Architect of eMeter Corporation, and is responsible for creating and specifying EnergyIP solutions with eMeter clients. Previously, Mr. Wambaugh was Chief Technology Officer at CellNet Data Systems and, prior to that, he was Vice President-Product Marketing and Management, as well as Director of Engineering Services, which included overseeing the installation of CellNet networks and central operations control centers.
Mr. Wambaugh is a recognized industry expert in the integration of AMIS and AMI with utility information systems and the deployment and operation of AMI system. He is frequently invited to conduct technical courses for industry conferences and has been a lecturer for Stanford University. Mr. Wambaugh holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Material Science degree from Vanderbilt University, as well as an M.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
